Merry Christmas!

Everyone's favourite Christmas song! We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Christmas is time to celebrate all the people you love and be happy together.
Traditionally, people give friends and family presents, or gifts. They decorate a Christmas tree.

Homes are decorated with  christmas lights

Santa Claus (in the USA), or Father Christmas (in the UK) lives in the North Pole with his elves.

The elves make the toys in Santa's toy workshop for all the children of the world.

Good little children go to bed on Christmas Eve so that Santa Claus (in the USA), or Father Christmas (in the UK) can deliver presents to them with his sleigh and flying reindeers.

He can't deliver the presents if the children are not sleeping.

They often leave him a glass of milk and a mince pie (in the UK) or a cookie (USA).

If he can, he climbs down the chimney.

On Christmas Day, children wake up to find their presents under the christmas tree!

In the UK, they like to have a white Christmas. That is when everything is covered in snow.

But in Australia, Christmas is in the middle of summer, so the weather is very different!
